RMH-HUKM Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2006

Kuala Lumpur, 17th November 2006 - The Ronald McDonald House-HUKM (RMH-HUKM) celebrated Hari Raya Aidilfitri with the less fortunate children from Ronald McDonald House- Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (RMH-HUKM), Rumah Solehah, Rumah Kanak-Kanak Tengku Budriah, and the Pediatric ward, Hospital UKM at RMH-HUKM.

The objective of this celebration is to give an opportunity to the children to celebrate and to have fun. There were 70 children as well as parents, RMH patients, RMHC and HUKM staffs who were present for the celebration. Local artist, Ako Mustapha who has been very actively involved in activities organized by RMH was also present at the event to cheer the children up. As an encouragement to the children, RMH-HUKM also presented goody bags with toys sponsored by McDonald’s and snacks sponsored by RMH-HUKM. The Goody bags were given to the children by Ako Mustapha.

Varieties of food, such as lontong, kuah kacang, mee hoon goring, ayam rendang, roti jala and kuah kari, and nasi goreng were served to the children and parents at the event. This celebration will be one of the sweetest memories for all the children and the parents at RMH-HUKM and pediatric ward, as well as children from Rumah Solehah and Rumah Kanak-Kanak Tengku Budriah.
